A task is a request to capture something specific — a short video or a document. Each task lists what to capture and a payout tier before you start. You find tasks in the Tasks tab and submit from the task detail screen.

Task types

Video
Record original, short video clips.
Document
Upload PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and similar files.

Payout tiers

Each task is priced by effort. The tier shows on the task before you accept it; the final amount is confirmed when your submission is approved.

$$Up to $5Medium effort
$$$Up to $20+Higher effort or specialty captures

Submission requirements

A submission has to match the task brief to be approved.
  • Original. Capture it yourself for this task. Reused, downloaded, or stock content is rejected.
  • On brief. Cover exactly what the task describes. Read the requirements on the task detail screen before you record or upload.
  • Right format. Use a supported type for the task — a video clip for video tasks, or PDF, Word, Excel, or PowerPoint for document tasks.
  • Legible. Documents must be readable; videos must be in focus with usable audio where the brief calls for it.
You can submit by recording or uploading in the app, or by connecting cloud storage so eligible files import automatically. See Connections.

Review and payout

Submissions are reviewed before payout. Approved submissions move their amount into your cash balance; see Earnings. If a submission is rejected, the task stays open so you can try again, and you can contact support if you think a rejection was a mistake.
